As an early actor, Katherine wrote, directed and performed in many productions at that time, including film and TV roles. This complemented her work as a columnist and writer. (The Australian, The Sunday Times, The Daily Mail, The West Australian, Women’s Health, Marie Claire, Ms London, etc.) Her 2007 memoir made the best-seller list in the UK (Random House). She has published a number of award-winning articles, plays and poems – and commissions.
With the advent of parenthood, Katherine became a high-school teacher, graduating amongst Australia’s top 3%. Academically, she has a bachelor’s degree in fine art, secondary education – as well as law.
Now mature-age, with her children grown, she’s returned to her first loves, creative writing and acting. She’s an ardent, expert guide on Dickens and Shakespeare and sometime poet/artist and reviewer.
